Amazon Prime Deals I’d Buy For Home as an Art Studio Owner

For those of us who especially might already be looking for - dare I say - HOLIDAY gifts… 🫢

I’d love to share my favorite purchases for the studio that would be great for home, too. If you have an art cart, art box or just broken crayons and some paper - I think any of these could really be a win for your collection.

If you love the idea of any of these but wonder what the heck to do with it, just ask! I’m always happy to offer ideas.

Also for everyone who says “OMG I think we need this at home” for the LEGO wall, the base plates are included here and man I wish I bought them for this price. 😅

Below the image I’ll add the link to each numbered item. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

When you buy through my links, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

  1. Making tape. If we can let go of wasting for a second, give the kids masking tape and a cardboard box. Literally that’s it. They will practice ripping with pinchy fingers or cutting if they are ready. And have a blast just adding it all over the box.

  2. Acrylic Markers. Yes, acrylic markers. No, they don’t wash out. But here’s a washable option. I just LOVE for the kids to have some amazing art materials. It’ll take their coloring to a next level. Also - amazing for us adults. 🤗

  3. FOAM CLAY. Hear me out. I was skeptical forever ago and now there’s no turning back. The kids can make all sorts of creations and it dries so lightweight and doesn’t crumble like air dry clay. Also it can be painted. And please don’t hesitate to give them gems etc to stick to it.

  4. Paint sticks. All day every day. It’s like drawing with lipstick. 😅 Smooth with bold colors. Great on paper, cardboard, canvas, etc etc etc.

  5. Base plates for a Lego wall. Or put them on a table. Or add paint to it and stamp on paper. Love these.

  6. Buttons. I actually added this bc I feel like buttons can oddly be costly. This is a pretty selection for cheap. Use with glue or add to the foam clay or play dough or slide onto pipe cleaners.

  7. Blank stickers. More importantly - on a sheet. Kids can independently pull them off and stick onto projects. Add faces, etc. Blank stickers are awesome.

  8. Pipe cleaners. Love these colors in this pack!

  9. Googly eyes. More importantly- adhesive googly eyes. Because life is better with them.

  10. Glue tape. Adding this in case you are afraid of glue at home. Also no drying time!

  11. STICKY GEMS! Probably, honestly, my most used material at the studio. This one has an incredible variety and they don’t fall off. I love love love these.

  12. Clear glue. Fill a squeeze bottle with this. It’ll last forever.

  13. Washi tape! It’s basically decorative tape. Adds character to any project. Another top fav at the studio.

  14. Hole punches and fun scissors. The kids will never not stay busy with cutting and hole punching. It’s such a favorite activity.

I could probably make this list three times longer, but these are the things I’d genuinely start with. They’re supplies I use often, reach for repeatedly, and would be happy to buy again.

I’ll keep adding to this list as I find more favorites, especially the things that work just as well at home as they do in the studio. But for now I’m aiming for the last minute Prime deals!

If you try anything from the list, I’d love to know what ends up becoming a favorite in your house too.
