Open Studio
Looking to visit but don’t know where to start? Open Studio is a drop-in opportunity to check Doodles out. Book a hour and show up anytime within the time frame. The studio is set up for free art exploration and self serve arts and crafts ideas. Visits are 60min with an option to add an additonal hour.
Best for ages 2-9yrs.
Caregivers must attend with kids under 4yrs. Drop-off optional for 5+. Limited space!
Tuesdays 4-6pm

Hi! I’m Jenn.
I’m the studio owner and creative heart behind Doodles Art Studio in Niantic, Connecticut, a welcoming space where kids are encouraged to explore, experiment, and create in their own unique way.
As a former photographer, lifelong creative, and Mom, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of imperfection. At Doodles, I believe children don’t need step-by-step instructions or perfect outcomes to make meaningful art. They need time, materials, and permission to be themselves.
My approach is rooted in process art—open-ended experiences that allow children to follow their curiosity, make choices, and build confidence through creative play. Whether a child is painting for the first time or building independently for hours, every idea is valued here.
Doodles Art Studio serves local families and homeschoolers in the Niantic area, offering art classes, open studio experiences, and creative workshops for a wide range of ages. More than anything, Doodles is a community space—one where kids feel safe to explore, parents feel supported, and creativity is celebrated just as it is.
